Before you start
Pre-qualify your customer to avoid disappointment- they need to;
- be over 18;
- be an Australian citizen or resident;
- have an Australian Visa or Mastercard personal debit or credit card, and;
- have an valid Australian mobile phone number and email address that they can access
Customer data entry
- Ensure that the names you enter in the name fields – first name, middle name(s), last name - exactly match the document your customer will be using to identify themselves. They can either use a driver’s licence, Medicare card or passport. Get your customer to check the entry
- Ensure emails and mobile phone numbers are entered correctly and get your customer to verify these as well
After you have completed your part of the application
- Take the time to chat with your customer about the process and remind them that they will need to finish the application by clicking on the link they have received
- Consider calling your customers with pending loans to offer assistance or offer to resend the application link, if it takes longer than you would expect for them to complete the application
- You can resend the application link to your POS customer by selecting the drop down menu next to “Pending loans”, then “continue order”
Once the order is ready for fulfilment
- Don’t forget to FULFIL the loan in your portal once the order is ready to ship
